What is RPGMeister?
RPGMeister is a free tabletop RPG companion designed for face-to-face play.
Players use their phones for characters, rolls and game information while the group keeps doing what tabletop RPGs are supposed to be about: sitting around a table telling a story.
The idea behind it
The adventure belongs at the table. The app is there for the numbers — so nobody has to dig through a binder while the scene is waiting.
- Face-to-face first. You play in the same room. Your phone is a character sheet and a dice tray, not a substitute for talking to each other.
- Less bookkeeping. More adventure. Stats, skills, inventory, and rolls stay on your device so the story can stay in the middle of the table.
- Simple rules on purpose. A short 3d6 core handles the moments that need a number. Everything else is described — by the GM, by you, between you.
- Your sheet, your phone. Characters and campaigns live locally. You share with the Game Master when you choose to — not through an account or a shared cloud folder.
