Character
A hero is a concept first: focus, role, and ties to the party. Spend points on breadth, then excellence — then enter the numbers in the app.
The app remembers the cost curves. These pages are here when you want the rule behind the field.

How to think about a hero
- Stage. The GM sets the adventure tone — grit, intrigue, high magic, gunsmoke.
- Place. Pick focus (combat, stealth, lore, social, magic…) and role in the company (scout, face, healer…).
- Story. Name, short background, ties to other PCs.
- Sheet. Spend starting points across the building blocks below.
Talk with the GM about tone before you invest points. Don't bring the barbarian to a royal ball — not without a makeover.
